Terms & Conditions

Version 2026-08-29-2 · Updated 29 August 2026

This website currently accepts booking enquiries only. Sending a request is free: it does not charge your card, guarantee availability or create a confirmed stay.

1. About these terms

These terms cover the Shannon River Escape website and enquiries about the Princess 380 yacht in Athlone, Ireland. For questions, corrections or complaints, contact Rimworkmail@gmail.com.

2. Sending an enquiry

Please provide accurate contact details, select your requested dates and package, and review the three booking documents. Submit a request only for yourself or with the guest's permission. Do not enter payment-card details, sensitive medical information or another person's unnecessary personal data.

The calendar shows unavailable nights and date blocks. A stay runs from check-in to check-out; the check-out day is not an overnight stay. Availability is checked when you submit. An acknowledgement or reference number means that your enquiry was received, not that the yacht has been reserved. Pending enquiries do not hold dates.

3. Prices and confirmation

Prices are displayed in euro for the selected package. Before you commit, the operator must confirm availability, the agreed total price (including applicable taxes and any additional charges), what is included, guest limits, arrival and departure arrangements, and any deposit or payment schedule. A confirmed booking requires separate agreement with the operator. These website checkboxes do not authorise a payment.

4. Changes, cancellation and refunds

You may withdraw an unconfirmed enquiry without a cancellation charge. Contact the operator promptly if your requested dates or plans change.

For a confirmed stay, the cancellation, no-show, deposit and refund conditions must be clearly supplied and agreed before you commit. This enquiry form does not impose a non-refundable deposit, cancellation fee or automatic forfeiture. Refunds and remedies remain subject to the agreed terms and applicable consumer law.

The usual 14-day online cooling-off right generally does not apply to accommodation or leisure services booked for specific dates. This does not remove rights where a service is cancelled by the provider, not supplied or does not meet the contract. See CCPC guidance on online contracts.

5. Safety and conduct

Please read the Yacht Rules and share them with your party. Follow lawful safety instructions and the onboard briefing. Unsafe weather, river conditions or a serious safety issue may affect a stay; any alternative arrangements or refunds must be addressed under the booking agreement and your legal rights. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

6. Website use and personal information

Do not misuse the enquiry system, submit deliberately false requests or attempt unauthorised access. Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Acknowledging that notice is not permission to send you marketing.

7. Questions and applicable law

If there is a problem, contact us with your booking reference and a description so the operator can investigate. These terms are intended to operate under Irish law, including applicable consumer protections. They do not restrict mandatory rights or the courts available to consumers under applicable law. Updates apply to future enquiries; they do not retrospectively change an agreed booking.
